Ability to have the Unit of Measure (UOM) set/changed at the Job Product level

Currently, the UOM on a product can only be set in Product Maintenance. We would like the ability to set the UOM on a product at the job level in Job Maintenance. This is so different jobs can have different UOMs for the same product.

We deal with this today by creating multiple products for each requiring a different UOM. But with our new integration with our ERP and with tighter integration with CommandSeries and CommandBatch, Integra being the only system with this limitation is causing workarounds.

    Thank you so much for your input Ed. This is an interesting idea to me. Do you have an example you can describe where a product needs to be given a different unit of measure by job? What is it about a job or project that makes it necessary for a product to have a different unit of measure?
