We are using delayed print so we can print load times on tickets and point a ticket to a specific lane printer where we have multiple plants at one location. When we have a large pick up order this process is bypassed and the tickets print as soon as they are ticketed, usually to the wrong lane and without a load time. This causes extensive confusion and delays for the plant personnel and drivers. Since the vast majority of picku jobs are DOT jobs with tighet quality controls the current method is very burdensome.
