Create a Read Only user profile for viewing orders in Dispatch to avoid order locking

We would like to have a Read Only profile so users can view orders but not lock the record.  A use case would be a QC tech opens an order to view it but does not close it.  Now dispatch cannot go into the order until we kill the users session or find them and ask them to log out.

Can we create a profile where a user has read only access to the order and eliminate to times we have to kick folks out of an order?

    Keith this is a great idea! I am up-voting this as well. This may technically be a separate ticket but it would also be nice for one dispatcher to be given the option to see an order in "read-only" that is open by another dispatcher. We have a supervisor that is reviewing orders but they can't see anything about it until the order is closed out. I am imagining something like: "<Name> currently has this order open, would you like to open in Read-Only? Please Note: that you may not be seeing the latest order details."
