Alphanumeric and Expanded Job Numbers

We would like job numbers to be expanded past 6 characters and also the ability to set alphanumeric job numbers.

We are required by law to have unique job numbers in our state and the current system is too limited. We are going to run out of job numbers too quickly and we cannot reuse them.
